Uintah Basin Christian Academy is a Utah Fits All Approved Private School. This page provides the disclosures, policies, and information required for participation in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, in accordance with Utah Code 53F-6-401 and Odyssey program requirements.

School Eligibility Statement

UBCA meets the definition of a private school under Utah Code 53F-6-401:

  • Full-time instruction: UBCA provides instruction five days per week (Monday through Friday) for the full academic year.
  • Tuition-bearing: UBCA charges a single, comprehensive tuition rate for full-time enrollment. Tuition is not charged on a per-course or per-subject basis.
  • Majority of instruction: UBCA serves as the primary school and the majority provider of academic instruction for all enrolled students. Instruction is delivered by UBCA faculty and staff, not by parents or guardians.

Tuition Disclosure

UBCA's full tuition rates, registration fees, book and curriculum fees, and payment information are publicly posted on our Tuition & Fees page.

UBCA charges a single, comprehensive tuition rate that covers enrollment in the student's full academic program. The rates published on the Tuition & Fees page apply to all full-time enrolled students for the 2026-2027 school year.

Refund and Reimbursement Policy

UBCA's full Tuition Refund and Reimbursement Policy is publicly posted on our Tuition & Fees page. The policy applies to all enrolled students, including students participating in the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program.

For Utah Fits All Scholarship students, any eligible tuition refund is remitted directly to Odyssey for deposit back into the student's scholarship account. UBCA does not issue scholarship-funded tuition refunds directly to parents or guardians.

Educational Services Disclosure

UBCA's full Educational Services Disclosure is publicly posted on our Educational Services Disclosure page. This disclosure details the curriculum, grade levels, teaching methodology, schedule, and academic services UBCA provides.

School Attestations

As a Utah Fits All Approved Private School, UBCA attests to the following:

  1. Refund remittance. If a Utah Fits All Scholarship student withdraws from UBCA and the school's refund policy provides for a tuition refund, UBCA remits any refund directly to Odyssey for deposit back into the student's scholarship account. UBCA does not refund scholarship-funded tuition directly to a scholarship student or their parent or guardian.
  2. Equal treatment. Utah Fits All Scholarship students are not charged different amounts or subject to different refund terms than other UBCA students enrolled in the same program.
  3. No transfer waiver. UBCA does not require any scholarship student to sign a contract that waives the student's right to transfer to another qualifying education provider during the school year.
  4. Withdrawal reporting. UBCA reports all scholarship student withdrawals to Odyssey within five business days of the official withdrawal date.
  5. Antidiscrimination compliance. UBCA complies with the antidiscrimination provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 2000d. UBCA admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally available to students at the school.

Homeschool Flex Program

UBCA's Homeschool Flex Program is a separate, supplementary offering for homeschool families enrolling in individual classes at UBCA. The Flex Program is not part of UBCA's full-time tuition-bearing enrollment and is not eligible for Utah Fits All approved school tuition payments. Approved school tuition under the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program applies only to full-time enrollment at UBCA.
