You Can Pray for Us!

We invite you to partner with us in prayer. At UBCA, we know that prayer is not just a part of our foundation—it is our foundation. Below are specific areas where we ask for your faithful prayers, along with Scripture to help guide your intercession.

Pray that our students would grow in wisdom, character, and a deep love for the Lord. Ask God to protect their hearts and minds, and that they would be bold in their faith and kind in their conduct.

• "Let no one despise your youth; instead, you should be an example to the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." – 1 Timothy 4:12

   

• "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and with people." – Luke 2:52

   

• "How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word." – Psalm 119:9

   

• "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me." – Psalm 119:133

Pray for strength, wisdom, and spiritual discernment for each teacher and staff member. Ask God to equip them to teach, mentor, and guide with grace and excellence.

• "Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people." – Colossians 3:23

   

• "Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance." – Proverbs 1:5

   

• "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." – James 1:5

   

• "The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace." – Psalm 29:11

Pray for the board to lead with clarity, unity, and humility. Ask for discernment in every decision and a spirit of service in all leadership.

- "Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." – Proverbs 15:22

- "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety." – Proverbs 11:14

- "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established." – Proverbs 16:3

- "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people." – Ephesians 6:7

Pray that God would bless and strengthen the families represented at UBCA. Ask for unity, provision, and that Christ would be at the center of each home.

- "But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." – Joshua 24:15

- "Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." – Romans 12:10

- "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." – Galatians 6:2

- "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you." – Numbers 6:24-25

Pray for the UBCA campus to be a place of safety, peace, and purpose. Ask the Lord to continue providing for the needs of the facility and to bless the space with His presence.

- "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." – Psalm 127:1

- "In every place where I cause my name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you." – Exodus 20:24b

- "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." – Isaiah 56:7

- "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves." – Zephaniah 3:17

Pray for God’s hand of protection over the entire school—students, staff, campus, and beyond. Ask for spiritual covering, physical safety, and the presence of peace.

- "The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life." – Psalm 121:7

- "No weapon formed against you shall prosper." – Isaiah 54:17

- "The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them." – Psalm 34:7

- "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." – Psalm 46:1

Pray for the surrounding community that UBCA serves. Ask for open hearts, spiritual hunger, and that we would be a light to those around us.

- "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." – Matthew 5:14

- "As we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, especially to those who are of the household of faith." – Galatians 6:10

- "Seek the welfare of the city... and pray to the Lord on its behalf." – Jeremiah 29:7

- "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." – Matthew 5:16

Pray that UBCA remains focused on its mission: to glorify God by equipping students with both academic excellence and spiritual maturity. Ask that our work would bear lasting fruit.

- "So that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." – 2 Timothy 3:17
