You’ve likely heard the term “Biblical Worldview” mentioned in church or at a Christian school. But what exactly does it mean? In simple terms, a worldview is the framework or "map" that each of us uses to interpret our experiences and the information we encounter in life. It shapes how we view the world and answers life’s big questions, like:
- Where did I come from?
- What is the meaning of life?
- Why am I here?
- What is right and wrong?
As parents and educators, we play a vital role in shaping the way children see and understand the world. Our first blog post of the month "Cultivate Your Child’s Worldview" explores practical ways to nurture a worldview rooted in truth and faith.
For those of us who have dedicated our lives to Christian education, there's always been this deep-rooted conviction that it has the power to truly transform students’ lives. We’ve witnessed it firsthand: the way it shapes character, cultivates faith, and prepares students for life beyond the classroom. But, up until 2011, there wasn’t much hard data to support these heartfelt beliefs. That all changed when a game-changing study was conducted.

Today, as I walked through the halls, I heard the words of this song being sung so loudly that they echoed down the hallway. Our staff often reflect on the fact that one of the things that makes UBCA so unique is the freedom that we enjoy to open every single one of our days with prayer, worship to the Lord, and a lesson from God’s Word.
